You are in the market for bass guitars and an ad for Bass guitars for sale interests you. You find it is from a dealer that specializes in musical Instruments. That is a good sign, as a dealer knows the product he is selling and he would know bass guitars. The thing to look out for is the sound. Not all bass guitars play the same. Look for signs of damage on the outside of the guitar. Also, look at the strings and see if there is any damage there. Once you have inspected it thoroughly, play the instrument to see if the sound is to your liking.

It is an investment into the future and you have to be careful where your money is going. Ask the dealer where the guitar came from if it is used. If new then the question becomes what company made it and let the dealer tell you a little about them.
